It’s E3 week, and with the likes of Microsoft, Square Enix, and Ubisoft already having made a bunch of new announcements, and Nintendo, Bandai Namco, and Capcom following soon, the entire industry has come together to bombard fans with major new updates. For the third year in a row, however, Sony has decided not to join the party- but they might not stay quite too long.

Over on ResetEra, insider Navtra – who has accurately leaked quite a few PlayStation announcements, such as recent ones like Death Stranding: Director’s Cut and Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin – has suggested that Sony is holding its own PlayStation-focused dedicated event in “a couple more weeks”, and that we’ll be seeing Final Fantasy 16 gameplay there.

Plenty of other exclusive PlayStation games are also on the horizon, such as Forspoken, God of War: Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7and Horizon Forbidden Westso a summer event might be a good place for Sony to showcase all of those games. Of course, the announcement of the aforementioned Death Stranding: Director’s Cut was accompanied with the promise of more information in “a few weeks”, which was interesting.

Of course, this is unverified information, so take it with a grain of salt for now. Stay tuned though, and we’ll keep you updated on any new info that comes our way.
